After about three light layers of the 2H pencil on line drawing. |
Moved onto a HB pencil and have marked in eyes, nose and mouth. |
Working on mid tones still using HB added eyebrows and worked more of nose. |

| Working on mid tones with the HB pencil continued with nose. | Still working with the HB pencil continuing with nose, under eyes, cheeks and have began mouth. | Worked way down face with the HB pencil. Have now done many light layers with the HB pencil. |

| Added detail in clothing by building up darker areas with the 2B pencil. | Worked way down the face adding 2B pencil to darken miid tones. | Moved the corner (right hand side) of mouth over so that it is more in line with the eye. Added highlights to eyes and adjusted their shape. |
